Traditionally, many initiatives related to diversity, equity, and inclusion are deeply rooted in legal compliance. Addressing these initiatives powerfully keeps an organization moving forward. Sometimes just those three words: diversity, equity, and inclusion generate tension and fear for leaders. This is the ingredient that deepens the efficacy of systems and processes. Joy has the power to transform the inner world of the people those same systems are designed to impact.

• Identify and disrupt habits and patterns that prevent them from being effective in communication

• Identify ways to enhance psychological safety for themselves and others

• Confidently expand their network and collaborate as allies

• Develop the confidence to work in cross-cultural teams

There is a lot of talk about resilience and its impact on many areas of our lives. Resilience is our ability to regulate our emotions and behaviors so we can respond mindfully vs. react instinctively.

 

It’s important that leaders know and understand how to build their emotional resilience in order to better serve their families, communities, and organizations. That they contribute from an inspired, productive, and regenerative place.

 

Our ability to understand what makes us come alive, connect in meaningful ways with others, then offer to contribute in ways that are fulfilling is key. It’s time to reengage and reframe how to be and offer our best selves.

• Explore the three key strategies to connect to their best selves.

• Determine & discover meaningful opportunities to mindfully contribute to others. 

If leaders set personal or organizational diversity and inclusion goals and then expect to achieve them on their own, their success might be limited. When they intentionally seek out individuals who represent communities they hope to impact and build meaningful relationships they optimize their chances for success.
